Bad until the last 10 min (no spoilers)

Hi -

I had wanted to see this for years because it sounded like a great premise for a film. (And like many people here, I am a huge classic movie buff.)

Well, I just found a used VHS of it and it was even worse than I had heard. However, to give it some credit, there was some good material during the climactic chase sequence, and the very ending was pretty clever and a nice homage to an all-time classic film.
