I've watched this movie several times over the years. I watched it again, today. It's a pleasure to see such incredible acting by all the major players. It's truly a wonderful film. The story is good, but watching DeNiro, Duvall, and Durning, along with the rest of the cast, is a pleasure.

Watched it for the first time tonight. Simply exceptional. Acting is brilliant, all on their toes and the give and take between each character is a master class. Duvall and DeNiro bring such understated emotion to the roles of the brothers, however, my favorite moment was watching Charles Durning dancing the jig at his daughter's wedding. Graceful and having a blast.
This will be one of my favorite films for a very long time.
It was a very good movie. Almost as good as LA Confidential
