Taking liberties

Was anyone else uncomfortable with how this documentary had the voice of Elvis "narrating" his life from the grave, and how it used actors to portray the younger Elvis? I realize there are large gaps from Elvis' early life that didn't have footage, but it detracted from the credibility of this film.

Overall, this is a very good documentary, with a terrific version of "Peace in the Valley" and fun footage of Elvis practicing karate. But because of some of the re-creations, I had to give it 8 out of 10 stars.

Anyone else think the filmmaker took a few too many liberties?
