Robert Prosky was an amazing actor. Can hardly believe that the same guy who played an absolutely TERRIFYING mob boss in Thief also played the genial TV station owner in Mrs. Doubtfire.

Yeah, that guy had RANGE.
I still have nightmares from that upside down "I'll put your c**t wife on the streets to be f**ed in the a** by nig*** and porto-ricans..." shot.

Right?! That speech was delivered with such intensity that you knew that character DID. NOT. PLAY.

Wasn't he the guy in Christine who owned the garage. Weird case of a guy who looked better as he got older

Yep, that was him. Actors like Prosky and M. Emmet Walsh always raise the bar no matter what they're in.

He was one of the greatest character actors of my time {I'm 68} ALWAYS gave a better than good performance--- Anyone remember him from Hill Street Blues??

We don't see many older actors of his caliber anymore since Hollywood became obsessed with comic books and video games. Shame.
