Dorothy's anniversary...

Every August 14th, I ride my bicycle from Santa Monica to the Pierce Brothers Westwood Cemetary to visit the grave of Dorothy Stratten and read the poem there. Then I ride down to the murder house about two miles south, under the curve of the I-10 Freeway. Then I ride back up to Westwood Village to Stan's Donut Shop where I have a blueberry cheese danish and a large coffee. Then I cry all the way back to Santa Monica. I think it's only the danish that saves me. Thanks for the help, Stan!

Wow! How sad. I hope you find some peace this upcoming August 14th. Please know that she is in a much better place.
