She's Funny That Way - very much in the TAL mode (spoilers)


Bogdanovich's latest, "She's Funny That Way," is a definite "spiritual successor" to "They All Laughed." It has a similar feel with its farce plot dealing with the interlocking relationships among a group of around ten men and women, Audrey Hepburn's name is invoked a couple of times, and George Morfogen is back as a private detective specializing in following women - although he's not called Leon this time, his character and profession really puts us in the whimsical universe of They All Laughed.

As a TAL fanatic (and I hope I'm not the only one), I found SFTW a complete delight.
