Location
First thought this was filmed in Chile or Argentina and then discovered its location is in Portugal. Beautiful scenery but was not the Pyrennes. As far as the plot, think of the Donner party ala Portugal.
sharejust watched it and loved it, yeah the scenery is beautiful, but i was even more impressed by the manner in which nature was filmed in this, almost dematerialized, it was nothing short of stunning
and the way he controls light and shadow in the interior scenes to convey menace, superb
now i simply have to see everything he's ever done :)
