He is in several scenes throughout the movie. He is one of Tim Hutton's officers. He has scenes in the altercation with townies and a heart-to-heart with Tim Hutton at about 1 hour 15 minutes into the movie. But he is one of the officers to give up when Tim Hutton asks for volunteers to leave (at about an hour 25 minutes into the movie). Hope this helps.
shareHe is in quite a few scenes.He is actually the fourth or fifth lead in the film; has a real nice part and does and excellent job. I had the pleasure of meeting Evan around this time briefly. As I knew him then, he was great guy. Very down to earth, very serious about the craft of acting and his career. He was really going great at the time starring both on Broadway and in films. I'm real glad to see that over years he overcame all the trials of his health problems and once again has a thriving career as an actor.
