Tom Cruise Screen-Time ?
Does anyone know how much screen-time Tom Cruise has in this one ?
I have heard that he only has a cameo appereance...
He was first cast in a minor role but Harold Becker later promoted him to third lead so he has lots of screen time only to be eclipsed by Tim Hutton's and Sean Penn's.
shareEclipsed by Penn and Hutton? LOL! Maybe both of them had a bit more screentime than Cruise, but Tommy's performance ate them alive, he made the movie!! Scott played his usual self & he was in more like an extended cameo, even if he was first billed.
shareCruise's screen time isn't large compared to Penn and Hutton but his character is unforgettable and very important to the climax of the movie. His character was always my favorite when I first discovered this movie, before Tom Cruise became a big star.
