I don’t know what it is specifically but I feel like the shower scene is simply a god-tier nude scene that is a paramount to everything wonderful about gratuitous 80s nudity.
The concept is great, Stillman’s commentary is funny, the setting is sexy, the women are beautiful, and it’s the idea of this totally incompetent moron of a CO abusing his power to do something as childish as peep on naked ladies that makes it stand out so much.
Also the naked flesh on display during the mud wrestling scenes, brilliant!

Eh sorry to be a downer here but I thought the nudity was completely unnecessary. If it served a purpose or if it were part of a joke then I would be fine with it but it seems like they just threw the nudity in just because they could, it was the equivalent of a bunch of 12 year olds giggling over a playboy. I cannot think of a single funny joke in Stripes that wasn't PG.
