Should have been more serious
This is a prime example of a movie that cannot decide what it wants to be - a light comedy or a serious historical movie. I quite liked the parts with a more "serious" tone, mostly in the second half of the movie. But the slapstick comedy in some parts really got annoying. The funny American tourist guide was OK, because it's quite realistic to have such a guy working with tourists. But the car chase with Arab guys on the roof of the car, and the pouring of water on one of the Arabs - such stupidity should be reserved for other types of movies. Seems the makers of the movie wanted to please as muany viewers as possible, but ended up driving most viewers away.
