I give it a 7.7/10. Bruno Lawrence was an amazing actor. I liked him in this film and also in
The Quiet Earth. He died way too early, at 54. It's strange that he never really became
a big star. Sad.
Ironically my best friend also died at 54. RIP.

I love this movie!!
You're right Bruno Lawrence was a damn fine actor. I also think Roger Donaldson is one of the most underrated directors. I thought the girl who played the daughter was great too. The soundtrack dates it a bit (although I do like Sharon O'Neill, her contributions here don't really seem to complement the film) but it's a small gripe for an otherwise excellent drama film.
a solid 8/10 for me.
