Now, why in God's name is only the first one second of Dar's fall cut to an obvious dummy ? What we see in the movie could easily been filmed from the first floor as it cuts away as he breaks through the glass. What we see in this clip is a better shot of the fall that what is in the movie .

Agreed. Why have his risk injury or death if you're only going to show him crashing through the glass? Robinson just should have thrown a dummy out the window when Burt yelled ACTION.

I remember this stunt was pretty big for its time. Now not many remember it as much, but I saw some special about it once (or a story on a show- I was young and can't remember) but it was very high. I'm surprised it isn't more talked about.
