I bought the set of SPB's and noticed that the first ball has Billy Connolly in the intro and end credits... yet he is no where to be seen on the show.
Was he cut out, or was he supposed to be on it and didn't show up?
Wait, didn't you post this question before? Yes, you were ripped off, he was in it but has now been cut. Except from the earliest tapes.
shareI wondered about that. Connolly is in the credits, but I don't remember seeing him at all. Been netflixing the discs; enjoyed watching the '79 show after almost 30 years (on The Movie Channel!). Still pretty funny. Love Townshend. Didn't know who Rowan Atkinson was then. Cook's dead, as is Chapman; Bennett and Miller are OLD (as I hope to be someday). The Palin I hear about these days is not the one I want to hear about.
