DVD Price
Why is the price of this DVD on ebay, Amazon etc so highly priced??
because it impossible to find on dvd it is very rare. The vhs version is easy to find.

I suspect the reason the price for the DVD is so high is the DVD was originally released by a small company, with a limited print run. Now that the DVD is out of print, people who are selling the DVD can ask for ridiculous amounts because the DVD is difficult to come by...and from what I've heard the region one DVD release is in pan and scan format and of poor picture quality.

You might be able to find a copy at a pawn shop like I did it cost me $4.

shareYou 'found' a copy, or found a *beep* 'burned' copy?! DVD-R's are as lame as the day is long. If you want a particular movie, and its out of print, show that you have a pair and pay the paper or don't get to watch the flick. Burns are what's causing the movie stores to die out. Remember in the 1980's, every other corner had a video store, nowadays you can't locate a mom n' pop vid store for states, or morely not at all. What a real disgrace!!

All the dvds on the site are $12.73, including this one. They have a selection of a lot of weird things : Mexican Horror, Asian Horror, Sword and Sandal and the like. Careful though. A lot of titles are in their original language.

My Mom and I have watched this movie every Saturday the 14th since the movies release. I've tried locating a reasonibly priced DVD, but hard to do. Our VHS is getting really worn out. I may have to suck it up and spend the money. I doubt our tape has much life left. I'd also like to pass that silly tradition to my son. :)

Ihave the DVD and bought it from Ebay. Wonder how much it is now. I think I paid 13 dollars for it.
shareburns are not cheap and causing the stores to die out IF they dont make the movie and release it anymore! Got a burned copy of Return to Mayberry and am so glad for the seller, but someone reported them after I got it and 'warned me' it might be a burned copy, and had the seller stop selling it! Idiots! Like I want a vhs copy?! Burns are a blessing if theyre outof production, and out of stores too. Especially if they're cheap!
