corny as hell, but its fun to watch!!

this movie is my all-time fav b-movie......it has all the elements of a cult favorite bad acting, directing, special effects, and it is written with the utmost cheeseiness.pure and simply put this movie is soooooo bad i fell in love with it.if you dont like cheesy movies stay clear away from this gem.

Well, I'll tell ya...I am so infatuated with Paula Prentiss I'll watch any piece of crap she's been in. HOwever, this one was so bad I wanted to forget it as soon as it was over with. I thought Paula and Richard had some good lines and funny reactions, but the movie looked to be so cheaply made and there were so many lame-ass things that bothered me that I can't remember them all. I understand finding good corny movies, but I've definitely seen corny/better ones...Amityville 4, The Jazz Singer others that I'm too tired to name.

It was very corny, and not really good, but I did kind of like it. I remember when it came out, in November, 1981 (25 years ago last/this month), and though I did not see it I was aware it was a spoof of the two Friday the 13th movies that had been out the previous two summers. I then saw it on our VCR in the mid 1980s, and felt the way you mentioned, but liked the haunted house aspect for the new family on a Saturday, (?) 14th.
