Why would anyone think this was a good idea for a movie, let alone safe?


Seriously, what was stopping all those animals from eating everyone on set? And why would any actor put themselves in that situation? I'm so confused. And slightly disturbed.

I agree. Stupidest, cockiest idea I've ever heard. This is right up there with going to North Korea and deciding to steal a souvenir.

It was an ill-concieved project alright, fascinating to watch today, but it certainly shouldn't be done again.

The fact that the cats were probably well-fed and not threatened made it a LITTLE safer, but any wild animal can be unpredictable and potentially dangerous, and that many of them together. . .

On the other hand, if lions had eaten Tippi Hedren and Melanie Griffith back then, we wouldn't be stuck with Dakota Johnson today. . .
