What the heck did I just watch?

Read the article a few days ago about what an amazing disaster the making of this movie was, so I had to seek out a copy and give it a watch. My thoughts :

*spoilers*

1. I've never seen so many large cats in one place at one time. It's worth a watch for that alone.

2. Everything about this movie is an absolute mess, even by 1980's standards. The plot, if you can call it that, is a little all over the place. The acting isn't great, but it doesn't seem so bad compared with the terrible editing.

3. I thought this was going to be a horror flick, but it was much more like a slapstick comedy.

4. It should have been obvious to the relatives who show up and get 'stuck' in the house full of the wild cats, that the cats posed no real danger. With as many large cats as there were (30-40?), if they were going to kill them they would have and could have right away.

Overall it was worth a watch and somewhat entertaining, yet at the same time I can't believe this film took years to make. Wow.

#2 There was a plot?!?

#3 Same here.

#4 Yes, within the first fifteen minutes in the house they should have had that figured out.
