interpretation of the ending....spoiler

If anyone has seen luca fulcis movie "house by the cementary" I'd like to hear your interpretation of the ending.
What does the ending mean? And that quotation?!?

reply

Yeah, I've seen it, as well as his others in the trilogy "The Beyond" and "City of the Living Dead". It is widely believed that Fulci purposely left things ambiguous, as he himself gave several different interpretations of his own ending in "COTLD". Is it laziness or brilliance? Some believe his way of creating moods and atmosphere should be commended, while others think that he's just a sloppy filmmaker. That's the debate. Personally, I think it's a little of both.

The ending was an expectation for Lucio Fulci. If you have seen Seven Doors of Death/The Beyond, he kind of leaves you to say why?? or wonder even more. This is also for his other films as well.

I love the ending. Straight outta left field, creepy as hell. Even if I dont know exactly why it is cool.

he he!! it just is! :D
