The scariest thing about this movie? Bob.

I'm sorry, but that was the most unfortunate looking child I have ever seen in my life. Dr. Fraudenstein was creepy, and yet I almost had to avert my eyes for all the scenes with Bob...

"She's not my type. I like them... I don't know... dirty or something."

reply

YES!!!I think his face was trying to escape his voice.

oh, yeah! worst dubbing ever! does anybody know why that boy was not dubbed by a kid or dubbed himself but was dubbed by a adult trying to sound like a child? i know that dubbing is a normal thing in italian cinema, but why the hell must it be that worse? nevertheless, his acting was quite fine, i think.

Oh man! That kid was UUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGLY!!!!

Just hideous, I REALLY hope he grew into that forehead of his. Kripes!

AS far as the dubbing goes, I think it sounds like an adult woman trying to sound like a child. But I could be wrong...

reply

Are you kidding? Bob was a cute little kid, but kind of strange-looking. He had an impressive head of blonde hair, like a doll. His name is Giovanni Frezza, and he had worked with Fulci before. He was the best thing about this movie! And yes, for the awful English dubbed release, the voice of Bob was done by an adult woman. Currently I search for a version featuring the Italian original track with English subtitles.

reply

Personally I won't have one problem at all if my kids would look like Giovanni Frezza. Why trash a kid, that's pathetic.

Great kid, great actor, great lead.

but it doesnt have english subtitles

reply

Sorry, you are right. Italian or English audio track, but only Italian subs.

reply

the dubbing sucked noticed it immediately

reply

The kid looks like a young Brad Pitt.

the dubbing was necessary because in Italian Cinema they didn't record sound live on set.

They should put this on the DVD boxes to stop people getting confused.

He reminded me of Brian Bonsall, the kid they added to the "Family Ties" series in like the last season. Also kind of weird/cute looking and thoroughly annoying.

I swear he must have been the inspiration for "Chucky"!

reply

lol

Yeah I seriously can not watch this movie because of that kid

reply

Unfortunate looking child?
What does that mean?
You must not get out much
if you implying that the
child was ugly. He was
annoying, yes, but not
an ugly child.

reply

I agree. I think if the dubbing would have been better, the kid wouldn't get so much fuss on IMDB. I persoanlly thought he was a cute kid, but yes, the dubbing is unfortunate.

But come on, taking that toy gun to go save Ann? Too cute!!

We've met before, haven't we?

reply

I thought the scariest thing was the awful music! Lol.

reply

The toy gun threw me a little, since there was a much more realistic-looking gun (shotgun, I think) in the shot right before that. But the kid was like 7, so I can understand it.

There is no objective reality... and that's Sucker Punch

reply

and annoying as *beep*! ... he wins the spot. the most annoying kid in a movie.

" Look, there's two women fuc*ing a polar bear "

reply

If you think he's bad, check out 'Michael' in Burial Ground: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0081248/reference. That little freak is truly what nightmares are made of.

reply

Lol. Yeah, I haven’t watched Burial Ground in years, but I remember something like that there too. I think it must be an Italian thing to voice kids using adult voices. When I heard Bob’s voice for the first time, I literally laughed out loud. Someone said here that this blonde kid looked like Brad Pitt. I agree, I thought of that too, lol.
