Don't get me wrong... (spoilers)

This movie was ok, but, I had some problems with it that makes me not so crazy about it.

For one, I felt a lot of scenes were almost directly ripped off from Friday The 13th Part 2. Anyone who's seen that movie will know what I'm talking about. The rat scene under the bed while the killer searches the room for his victim is definitely one I can think of.

I also felt a lot of scenes were dragged out, they had a lot of "searching the house" scenes that seemed to go on for a while, eventually the suspense was gone and I was like "Ok can we get to the punch?"

What was with the couple in the basement? That whole scene was pointless... we never see them again after that, and they weren't attacked, so what was up with that?

I'm not also too MUCH of a body count person anymore, not with newer movies.. but you kind of expect the 80's horror to have one, and this one just seemed to lack it. I might be missing someone and I'm sorry I'm bad with remembering names lol but there's Rosemary and her new love, the girl in the shower and her boyfriend, the girl in the pool, the guy who gets shot at the end and then the killer/sheriff.

I hope I don't offend anyone when I say this movie could use a remake because I really think it could use some changes.
