Ennio's original score

I can't be the only one who'd really like to see this movie was all the music Maestro Morricone composed for this film that got dropped in favor of countless repetitions of Chi Mai. Don't get me wrong, I love Chi Mai, but just hearing the same version of the song over and over again makes it pretty obvious that it wasn't composed for this film. The original score as it is on the soundtrack album is much more nuanced and I'd really like to see how it would affect the film. Here's hoping that some day a BD release will come along with a sound mix featuring the original score as bonus material!

It's been a while since I saw the film (and I seem to have mislaid my copy) but I can only recall hearing "Le vent, le cri" once, during the opening credits in a short version without drums (track 1 on the soundtrack).
