I would like to buy this on region 2 DVD, I have only found one region 2 release, e.g the version released in France, is there any other region 2 release from any other country?
Do the version released in France have english subtitles?
I do not want to watch the dubbed version either.

The Region 2 DVD (PAL, of course) was published by STUDIO CANAL . The code is EDV 29. In the box it says that AUDIO is French and English. It is wrongly printed. It speaks French and has subtitles in English. Beware those are fixed. You can't take them away with the subtitle key of your DVD, if you are fracophone and English bothers you. You may end up improving your English, if need be...
IMDB does not list this version in http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082949/dvd.
But they are not accurate with DVD details of french Films in many cases

sharethe german DVD costs about 5 Euro and has an france and german soudtrack
with german subtitles.
