Would a remake work?
Since the Blu-Ray is coming, does anybody think a remake of this would work if the right filmmakers were involved?
Nope, given the big hoo haa in the media over women got charged with statutory rape and jailed over sex with minor teens in recent years.

Here's what I think. I believe that a good screenwriter can up the age of the male to college age to avoid that controversy and to add to the blackmail subplot.
