I just got this movie at walmart in their bin-o-movies for $1! It has another one on it that I haven't watched yet. I saw this originaly when it was a prime time tv movie and have always remembered it fondly. I am happy to say that the movie retains its appeal.
You guys outdid me, even allowing for the exchange rate, I saw it yesterday in a discount basement place in the Sydney (NSW, Australia) suburb of Ingleburn for $2.00 (bout $1.68 US). I spent AU$10 allup (the other 4 I grabbed were Nosferatu, Symphony of Terror; Ed Wood's Plan 9 from Outer Space, the 1937 version of A Star Is Born with Janet Gaynor and Fredric March; & a double movie pack Sherlock Holmes & The Secret Weapon (Basil Rathbone & Nigel Bruce) and a movie called The Fast & The Furious (John Ireland and Dorothy Malone).
i got it there myself, probably around the time you made this original post back in 2007, but i finally got around to watching it the other night when the internet was down and i had few choices.
the dvd came with another title "five minutes to live" which i will watch in another 4 years at this rate.
