Has Anyone Seen This Recently?

I'm thinking of buying it but don't want to spend the money if it's not really, really scary. I realize we all have different opinions on what's really scary but is it, let's say, as good as The Exorcist? Or The Ring (with Naomi Watts)?

Any input would be really appreciated.

I can't say how scary you'll find it, but it is very creepy and emotionally harrowing. Moreover, it's a brilliantly made, special film with a lot of vision. I consider it a masterpiece that belongs right up alongside the greatest horror films of all time.

I just watched it. It isn't scary. But there is something very unsettling about it. Some top notch acting, possibly bordering on over the top, depends on your tastes. I liked it, but I don't think I will watch it again any time soon.

I don’t think I’ve seen a film like this before. It was so disjointed and edited strangely that it actually made me on edge. Really weird. Adjani was absolutely amazing throughout, not to mention the subway scene. I’m going to watch it again soon.
