Saw Ernest Borgnine at a convention over the weekend... Just then it came to me that he was in the movie! This was one of those movies you try to explain to someone 20 years later to see if they remember what the name of it was... It all clicked over the weekend and I imdb'd Borgnine. It's on youtube.. Brought back so many memories.. One of those rare 80's sleeper classics like Honkeytonk Freeway, Savannah Smiles etc..

I have been asking people for DECADES if they remember "some movie about some guy with powers I saw when I was a kid... something about seeing the color red...", and ZERO people were ever able to help me out.
That was until a UFC PPV gathering last year, when the subject of "old, forgotten movies" came up (we had just rented Midnight Madness), and I gave it another shot. As sure as I mentioned the color red, one of the dudes said "Super Fuzz!". I was seriously, honestly starting to think I had imagined the entire damned thing!
I just put this in another thread... but I've finally rented it through Netflix, and when I watch it tonight, it will be the longest amount of time between any two viewings of anything in my life. Kind of cool!... although I expect to remember NONE OF IT.
I remember watching this movie when i was a kid.
