Soundtrack

Hey - I just wanted to knkow - is the soundtrack available? I mainly want to find out who's responsible for that super funky disco track where they're all like "Supah Supaaaaah - he's a supah supah".

reply

Well, no, because there is really only one song in the movie. The song is available for downloading at Morpheus, and WinMX.

I LOVED WinMX.

There is a soundtrack, it is nearly impossible to find, and I have it. It has 8 songs. Some of the other songs are named 'Do Ya', 'Rocket Theme', and there are two versions of the theme song on it. The song is by 'The Oceans'.

reply

The main theme song is repeated frequently throughout the film in different treatments, some with vocals, some without. You just can't get the damned thing out of your head! The IMDB lists the music composer as Fratelli La Bionda. I don't recall that being the name in the opening credits, but if it's right, it's a shame he didn't do more scoring.

I thought that song was from Miami Supercops?

Mig I suggest you go to a music store and search for (preferably with the assistance of someone who works there) the artist, "The Oceans". I have a CD with the song "Super Trooper". I'm having trouble locating it. :(

"Just because I'm moody, doesn't mean you're not irritating!"

reply

it's definately NOT from the oceans; it's from La Bionda, they have more songs, exactly the same "sound"; listen to their song "one for you, one for me" and you recognize the sound immediately.
There's a 6 minute version of super snooper on limewire;
the song is NOT called super trooper, but super snooper by La bionda.

reply

The soundtrack nearly ruined the film for me. God I thought I was going to have to find a gun and shoot myself.

Here you can download the soundtrack from Super Snooper/Super Fuzz by a group called The Oceans (or La Bionda?), very Disco, I never thought this would be possible. It's probably rare, so I might as well share. :)
Have fun!
