Filming in Miami 1980

It was murder capital of the world at this time and bags of cocaine fell from the sky on daily basis. I wonder how the shoot went? I find it interesting to know what happened in Miami during the shooting of this film and for example, if there's wide shot of police car on the causeway, the next car's trunk was probably full of forbidden stuff.
