On the first episode of the 3rd Season of "East Bound and Down" it shows one of Kenny's friends watching "Super Fuzz" while he is supposed to be baby sitting Kenny's kid. I could not believe they were showing it on "East Bound and Down", makes me like the show even more as I vividly remember watching "Super Fuzz" in the early 80's when it came on HBO all the time and on video in the mid 80's.

I'm watching Super Fuzz tonight (Netflix disc) after not having seen it in 30 years. THIRTY YEARS!! I'm pretty sure that's the longest I've ever gone between viewings of movies - I'm excited and I don't plan on remembering any of it.
I came here after watching Supersnooper for the first time after seeing it on Eastbound and Down. Great show. Another film featured in that show is Star 80, but I think that's more of a bio-drama. I'm going to watch it anyway.

Supersnooper? Yes. Actually, the two lead stars from Italy made a bunch of films set in the US together and are quite funny for their time. I recommend checking them out. Might be a bit silly for some people, though.
shareFor some reason I always thought it was called "Super Cop" or "Super Trooper" I saw it way back when it was in theaters.
I've tried to locate it several times without success after watching "Super Troopers" because the the title reminded me of it. It took me all that time to remember that it was "Super Fuzz". Finally, after all that time I should now be able to find it for viewing.
it would be part of the childhood of generation x at most, but mostly kids born in the 70s
