2 questions


#1 - What happened to Chico? it didn't look like she hit him that hard. Was he just knocked out and Pixote had to leave him there? I liked Chico, he was awesome and fun. Sad to see him leave at that point with no more character building.

#2 - Are street kids usually gay friendly like that? I would have thought that they would shun gays because befriending them would make them look weak. Any thoughts? Are there a lot of ligit gay street kids? I'm only used to the slums of Chicago and Mexico so it might be different.

i have no definite answers for either but...

#1 i assumed that he was knocked out and Pixote couldn't risk hanging around there waiting for him to come to. i also assume that he was taken "away" or put back into the system somehow.

#2 from what i understand, "bisexuality" is not uncommon among street kids. i am sure they are prone to abuses by adults/or older kids as seen in the movie also. many who engage in homosexual sex would not consider themselves "gay". i think it has more to do with circumstance than orientation.
