A few comments SPOILERS...I guess

Well, this was James Cameron's first film. Some interesting things. The nurse was the best character in it...

The scene in the morgue was so borrowed from ALIEN. Strange that Mr. Cameron went on to direct ALIENS. Or maybe not strange at all.

Piranhas are fresh water fish. This looks like a tropical saltwater environment. BUT OK OK OK if fish can fly...then OK OK OK they can inhale saltwater just fine.
I can feel all those nasty responses flying at me already...don't bite me too hard.

Oh, yes. There is a scene with a small cabin cruiser coming to a stop. The sound effect is that of a small 2 stroke motorcycle engine. The engine in the boat had to be either a decent-sized 4 stroke inboard or a diesel. I think James Cameron was so bothered by how this scene sounded that he went STRAIGHT AWAY and wrote a movie with a DIESEL POWERED VEHICLE as a major part of the plot! Hmmmm...strange...

This movie's OK. The other channel has BEACH PARTY BINGO playing. This one wins.
