Is this available on dvd anywhere....

.... at a reasonable price? I looked on Amazon and the price on it was around $80! Don't get me wrong, this is a fun, entertaining, and quite messed up film, but not enough that I'de pay THAT much to own it. Is there anywhere I can get it at a more reasonable price (around $15-$25).

Thanks in advance!

The Amazon user, The_exterminator is actually the guy that runs Code Red. I asked him to sell me a copy at a reasonably cheap price and was told that he would not do it. So, I think it's fair to let others know that this title isn't really OOP, Code Red are still making copies, but they're selling them at OOP prices.

Hell, I ain't no quitter. I've been smoking for 30 years...

Call me old fashioned, but I don't actually own a Blu-ray player yet. I've been staving off getting one for a long time now but am planning on getting one soon just for the sake of flexibility.

That said, since the film is getting a Blu-ray release, a lot of people are ditching their DVD editions on eBay. I scored one today for $30, which is chump change compared to some sellers on there who are asking $200+ for USED copies of it. Outrageous. Just a suggestion, or you could of course wait for the Blu-ray. If you do wait for the Blu-ray though, make sure you get it quick, because Code Red is weird and their titles seem to go out of print within months of being released. I own several of their releases (Beyond the Door, The Forest, Ghostkeeper), and I've seen prices in all of those discs fluctuate like crazy. It's kind of bizarre actually.

The option for store should be there.

These are the real prices.

Actually The Exterminator isn't Bill (William) Olsen owner of Code Red.

It's his neighbor, according to Bill.

Here's THE CODE RED PRODUCTS PAGE ITSELF:

iT'S DOWN FOR UPDATING ETC. AT THE TIME OF THIS POSTING. BUT REFERENCE WHAT I SAID ABOVE.

I just dropped $45 for a copy on eBay. It's the cheapest I've seen it go for for awhile now.

I ordered a Region 1 DVD for about fifteen bucks including postage off a retailer on Amazon.

ooh, you should go to Scarecrow video in The U district in Seattle, Wash. I rented it there and burned a copy for myself. so, it only costed me about 5 dollars including the blank dvd I used to burn it to. someone on you tube has a video in which he says that an uncut version of dead alive on blu ray goes for a lot of money right now. yeah, why are some movies so overpriced? is it because they are out of print maybe?
