Who's on the poster?

One of the first things that made me want to seek out this movie was the fact that it had (what appears to me) two guys on the poster, which suggested some sort of homoerotic subtext (a suggestion confirmed when I read more about the movie). But after seeing it for myself, I'm not sure who the guy standing behind Billy with his arms around him would have been. It makes more sense for it to be Cheryl, but it doesn't really look like her. It's a pretty ambiguous looking figure. Who do you think it's supposed to be?

Thanks in advance!

This would have be deliberate and while the film ended up copping out, on it's own closeted homosexual subtext\theme, the the image could also be Aunt Cheryl. She had cropped short hair and had her own desires for Billy.

This film is a little gem, with the homophobic 'nasty' cop, the suggestion that Billy is actually 'gay' and Cheryl's disturbed and possessive personality, which was pandering to incestuous lust for her nephew. The film also has a good early 80's atmosphere and a nice, languished tv movie quality about it, in the first part.

I have this on VHS, under the NIGHT WARNING title and the cover artwork is more thriller generic and not as symbolic and artful, as the original poster under BUTCHER BAKER NIGHTMARE MAKER.

Obviously, it's Billy's girlfriend.

It even kinda looks like Julia Duffy.
