Good, but I knew who the killer was (SPOILERS)

I watched this on youtube last night. In the end, its a decent little slasher. But the moment Eleanor came on screen, I knew she was the killer. That look she makes when she sees the professor with the student. Jealousy killings all the way.

And I even figured it was the man that road off on the motorbike in the end. Distract from Eleanor and their unborn baby escaping.

**SPOILER ALERT**

I completely agree. There was one small red herring but that was quickly dispelled. Despite this, "Night School" was a pretty good atmospheric slasher film.

I knew it as well.

Yeah, it's not hard to figure out whodunit, but the film is still pretty enjoyable.

What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

i agree .. i finally got around to watching this tonight on youtube .. i thought it was obvious who it was really early.. so .. i kept thinking that something had to happen because it was too easy ... but .. it played out just as i thought ...still ... it ws a pretty decent movie ..

Yes. I knew it beforehand because I heard about the movie from the "Day of the Woman" blog and she tacks on a "spoiler" that tells us who the killer is. The look on her face is telling. Also, in the first scene, we saw the motorbike. We then see the professor rides one. But, he doesn't come off as a killer type any more than the peeping tom did.

I originally thought she was going to be the second victim when she was walking home alone, but when she didn't die, I pieced together her being the killer pretty quickly

Pretty obvious now, maybe if I'd seen it back then...I wasn't so movie twist savvy and it would have been more of a shock.

It's true! I chopped him up. But I didn't kill him!

Something that doesn't make sense: Eleanor runs terrified from the Peeping Tom guy, falling down, losing her books, running into her house and slamming the door shut just in time.

But, this is a brutal killer who slices up and beheads women. She's scared, much less terrified, of a scrawny Peeping Tom?

reply

1) It's a purposeful deception to fool you and make you think she's the final girl and not the killer.

2) She wasn't suited/armed and ready for a showdown. Also it was a man who was following her whilst she exclusively killed women. Without her bladed weapon and the element of surprise he would have almost certainly got the better of her.
