Any similar films that have this tone and atmosphere? I thought of The Burbs when i was watching this.

After Hours (1985), Into the Night (1985), American Beauty (1999).

Those are great movies. I just watched Into The Night recently, love Goldblum. I didnt think of After Hours. I love the atmosphere in that film.
