Well, it's not 2 guys having a conversation for the entire movie, but Spalding Gray's monologues (i.e. Swimming to Cambodia, Monster in a Box, etc.) ranks right up there for keeping the audience engaged while he just talks throughout the movie.)

Waking Life is also similiar. It's not just two guys, but it's filled with conversations
shareYou made that comment years ago, but since then 'The Man From Earth' which has some similar concepts. It's much more sci-fi, but it's grounded in our reality and nothing but a conversation among a group.
Nobody on the IMDB likes anything anywhere at anytime.
