I have to say that since DVDs have came out I have purchased all the Munsters DVDs that contain the original 1960's show and the two Colored movies "Munster Go Home", and "Munsters' Revenge" One thing I can say is in my book nobody would ever be able to fully replace Al Lewis as Grandpa or replace Fred Gwynne as Herman. Those two were so funny together and i have to say since that DVD came out that gives me the ability to see Musters Revenge I got so many laughs out of all the things Herman and Grandpa had to do while hiding from the law until that final bit where Herman makes the mistake of putting too much of that formula on that mummy and making it change all the way back to a little baby. I can say it was funny how Herman had to wrap himself up in the mummy wrapping to fool those bad guys and have it to where the Police got the robots that looked like him and Grandpa. I can say that this was one of the wildest things I have seen those two in since the first time i ever saw Munster Go home.

yeah people hate on this movie but with the original good ol' Fred and Al any munster feature with them is CLASSIC.

You know one thing I have to say since the DVD of the second season of the original Munsters show has got a special features disk that basicly tells the life stories of Fred, Al and the lady who plays Lilly I finally got to see what Fred looked like without Herman's face on and with the way he really looked all he was basicly missing was the two bolts sticking out of his neck and the lightning bolt like scar on the forehead. When I saw what Al looked like without the makeup on he looks almost identical. All I can say is the only thing the makeup really did to both of them is make their faces turn green.

You know out of all the inventions it had Al making on the original show there is one of his inventions from the first season that I wish we all had right now. That invention is his instant gasoline pills because all we would have to do is put water in the gas tank and shove one of those pills into the tank to turn water into gas and that would save us money.

Agreed! It's the charm and quality of the actors and their camaraderie that maks anything with them in it watchable and endearing.

Pity people didn't elect Al Lewis... I've been reading up on him. Definitely a GREAT guy.

And Yvonne DeCarlo complemented both of them VERY nicely as well.
