And when could the movie be more widely available in this place? I have seen it several times and I DID admire it, definitely. It is a great film, one of Ferrara's best and most satisfying works! Can anyone tell me when it will be released on DVD in Britain. Thanks!

Ms.45 has never been banned in the UK. It was cut by the BBFC of 1min 42secs and the video release was retitled 'Angel of Vengence' during the 1980's, but a batch of videos from 1997 were mistakenly released fully uncut but were soon pulled afterwards. The cut version has been shown on Film Four and if I remember correctly on TCM too, but so far there is no UK Region 2 DVD release of it or any plans too (as of this post).

Spoiler : Thana goes shopping and we get close-ups of packs of red meat, she feels queasy and leaves. This scene is on the Image dvd, but not on the accidental uncut video tapes released in the U.K. I know this because I own both editions.
