Curb debt to Modern Romance...

As an avid LD and Curb afficianado, I firmly believe that Larry should hand over 1/4 of his paycheck every week to Albert Brooks for this film.

This was 10 years before Seinfeld and 20 before Curb. It set the standard for self obsessed Jewish neurotics while Larry was still honing his persona.

And as for Woody, forget about it. Woody's too consumed with pining over Brecht and Nietsche (sp?) to be worrying about the bulge in his dockers, let alone the size of his running shoes.

Screw CGI! Bring back scale models, matte painting, mechanical effects and ingenuity

But if you overlook me not running my philospher spell check, I'll give you a pass on your grammar.

Funny enough...Bob Einstein, Albert's brother is a regular on Curb Your Enthusiasm.

It's not just this movie, every Albert Brooks movie features Albert Brooks as a charecter very similar to Larry David's in Curb Your Enthusiasm.
