Does anyone have any idea where the real Kathy Miller is now? I read the biography of her, but haven't seen it in years.

I've been Googling for the last week trying to find that very thing out myself...I watched my copy of the movie again this weekend - haven't watched it in years. But after the Terri Schiavo nightmare, I needed to watch something involving a brain damaged individual that had a happy ending. So far I have come up empty. Even on "Where are they now" sites...

As of 2003, Kathy Miller was still living in Scottsdale and involved in athletics. More recent information about her doesn't seem to be available.

She changed her name to Kat Weil due to being adopted by her Mom's second husband and lives in New Mexico and is an avid diver. You can google Kat Weil to find out more.

im here and im sheri i was the girl in the movie that was really actually hurt by watching kathy get hit by that car at 55 mlles per hour .. when thqt guy got out of his car he smelt like booze , i ran as fast as i could to get her help , i couldnt run fast enough to get to kathys moms house . I have never spoke about this . kathy i still think about you every day . \\\\\\\\if you are still out there please call me .
this changed my life .

So funny when that happened i painted my fingernails black cause i had just got done about telling you that my grandpa had just died of a heart attack do you remember this walk home from school . do you remember we gave the cheerleaders ex lax gum ?
