What's your fave unintentionally funny moment?

I know there is much to malign in this horrible-hilarious movie, but did anyone else laugh at the little boy in the opening sequence? He was wearing lavender eye shadow, mascara and lipstick! His mom is mad about the nudie puzzle, but she seems okay with the fact that he raided her makeup kit.

I like the karate guy. That was so random and great

Bastard....BASTARD...........BAASSSTAAAAARRRD!

No Oscar for that?

reply

Hahaha. This was my favourite too!

I'd agree with your choice, PrettySalad. That and the '40s touchtone phone, as well as the cop asking the professor if THERE WAS A POSSIBILITY that the girl chopped up into pieces could have been chopped up with the bloody chainsaw sitting next to the remains.

I think it was pretty obvious the ninja was intentionally funny.

I have to vote/agree with the cop asking the anatomy prof if the chopped up body was done with the bloody chainsaw laying right next to it/her. Funny.

I watched this with some friends my senior year in High School, and for us the hands-down funniest moment was right after the tennis match. The professor, after watching the student playing walks up to her and stares directly at her chest, saying:

"Nice.... performance".

For a long time we used that line. As in "check out the performance on that girl!"

As an aside, I first saw this movie when I was about 9 or 10, and it is the only movie I ever watched that scared me so much I had to turn it off. Watching it again senior year, I have no idea why that was the case, but there it is. I now own it as part of a ten-movie DVD collection. I like to break out the hokey slasher movies every once in a while.

I know, right? They should have had the room lights on - I couldn't see a damn thing.

When it is revealed that the anatomy professor is a homosexual. With that Louis Vutton tie and briefcase? Say it aint so!

I shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.

Guy turning on his chainsaw and tennis girl says "Ugh!". Not "oh!!", not "oh my god!", just "Ugh!" :)

Linda Day George's "Bastard" line was priceless.
