The preacher's daughter's death is so bloody annoying. So she has the wit to run up the stairs and hide in a room, hoping Cyrus will look in the wrong room, which he does.

She creeps out of her room and into the hall way, and you're just waiting for her to leg it down the stairs and out the front door, easily outrunning the fat lump in pursuit, when she just goes and hides in the effing bathroom. Unsurprisingly, Cyrus automatically knows where she is and comes in and strangles her to death. Really annoying. What's the point of distracting him and sneaking off, only to hide in another room in the house? He's clearly going to check every room, so basically the only thing she can count on is that getting out of the house is imperative, which she singularly fails to do, even though she has ample opportunity. Classic slasher victim ineptitude.
