Can anyone confirm this?

In early 1983, i looked in the paper and saw posterart for a film called MIDNIGHT which featured someone with long, grey hair and i think the face of a skeleton chomping on something. Does anyone recall this poster and can confirm this is that movie? There are other films with the title of MIDNIGHT listed on the site, but this was in early 1983 and i the release date for this film is listed as december of 1982, so this has to be that movie, shouldn't it?

Yes, as misleading as it is, this is a poster for this movie. Though the creature isn't chomping, but I beleive holding a goblet.

The ad you mention was based on the second one-sheet for Midnight. (It's also the art work for the soundtrack album, of which I have a copy.) The skeletal face, holding a goblet, was Mother... mummified. (Shades of Psycho?) One of the questions that was never answered in the movie was whether Mother was dead or undead. The ritual involved feeding her the blood of young women over three nights, Good Friday through Easter Sunday, every year.

I know a good deal about this movie, as I played Luke Barnes, the bald Satanist.

Hi kinginyellw,

ACK! I'm in the process of watching this movie (my husband HATES the movies I watch and therefore I only get to watch bits and pieces when he's in the back office killing zombies on the computer. don't ask) and I'm enjoying the heck out of this movie. I'm loving your moustache, mostly. It looks like you had some fun making the film.

enjoying the flick so far,
