Another good, unfortunately overlooked, effort from 'Bruce Li'...


Just saw "Blind Fist of Bruce" and it was even better than "Deadly Strike", IMO. That long final fight was downright decent. Good cast, solid choreography, no obnoxious Bruce Lee imitation voice effects...this film is on a par with other independently-made kung fu flicks of the '70s, like "The Prodigal Boxer" and "The Big Rascal". It was too late for Li to shake off the Bruceploitation mantle by the time "Blind Fist" was made, but if he hadn't been saddled with it from the very beginning of his career, he could easily have been another Meng Fei, Chi Kuan-chun or Don Wong Tao.
