So she decides to lie about what happened? Why? Itd make for a far better book to describe what happened, including that bit about how it took "superior civilization" to bring out the brutality of the natives. Very lame ending. I wanted to see another cool death, movie didn't have nearly enough of them.
shareI thought the ending was awesome, just because it made no sense. Kind of a "Oh, she lied, and science spins further into falsehood" type of thing; the last scene had a certain vague sense of doom about it, or something. Of course it didn't make sense, but what do you expect, it's Italian exploitation.

I figured she didn't want anyone else to go out there to investigate her claims because the same thing would happen to them, so it was easier to lie.
sharePlus, that one guy whose manhood was cut off and eaten, pretty much deserved to die in a terrible way. Seeing what he did to the tribesman, my only thought was is that he's not getting out of this... Alive!
