Did Max ever tell anyone his name?

I don't recall it happening on-screen, but Pappagallo called him by name when he was trying to talk Max into driving the tanker. I guess we can assume he told the refinery leaders his name when he was negotiating the deal to bring the rig back...

Yes that's when he would have told them.

There wasn't any real need to show him telling them his name because the (feral kid) narration already told us everything about him in a much more dramatic way.

"I remember the Road Warrior. The Man we called Max"
