The reference to Berlin Alexanderplatz at the end...

...where they walk through the woods and mention a pimp killing his girlfriend, and briefly play the Berlin Alexanderplatz score, was the best part of this film. A fun little touch for those of us who've seen BA.  But unfortunately it also reminded me that this has little of the intelligence, poetry, and depth of that masterpiece, and made me long such quality...The worst film I've seen from RWF - full of melodrama but devoid of actual drama. A big disappointment.


I’ll be waiting, with a gun and a pack of sandwiches.
