question about lord frederick

Does anyone know who plays the lord who kills sir mulberry hawk in a duel? i remember i really admired him when i first saw this production 20 years ago as a teenager. i'm sure i've seen him again in other parts - but i just can't find his name in the credits for nicholas nickleby!

His name is Nicholas Gecks. I just saw him as James Wilder in the episode "The Priory School" in the Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes series.

You should look out for an excellent British series from 1984, Six Centuries of Verse, with some fine British actors reading the canon of (mainly) British poetry over that period (and beyond). You will find the wonderful voices of John Gielgud, Julian Glover, Peggy Ashcroft, Ian Richardson, Cyril Cusack as well as Nicholas Gecks delivering some fine readings, including him acting out The Pardoner's Tale from Chaucer's Canterbury Tales
