Let's Petition BLUE UNDERGROUND !!!!!

Friends, I too loved "The Legend of The Lone Ranger", and it's NOT a guilty pleasure. I'll tell anyone how much I was thrilled by this movie. It was released toward the end of my freshman year in high-school (say April or May of '81), and it is without a doubt, my favorite western. I've just now in January of '09 seen that there is a DVD release which I obviously will never waste my time or money to buy or rent. I just cant put up with a crap release. So... what do we do? Has anyone here ever heard of BLUE UNDERGROUND? This is the company that gets the rights to and releases DEFINITIVE edtions of movies that no one else has the guts to gamble on releasing. They are the comany that FINALLY put out "The Final Countdown" a few years ago. Now, I've got a NEW edition of "The Final Countdown" enroute to me from AMAZON. It's a brand new FULLHD 1080 WIDE-SCREEN BLU-RAY edition !!!!!! Yes, Blue Underground has gone BLU-RAY !!!!! I say we all write to Blue Underground and implore them to do "The Legend of the Lone Ranger". I'd like it on Blu-Ray... but you never know... if they do it, they

Hello Charles,

Thanks for your email. Unfortunately Blue Underground does not own the rights to release THE LEGEND OF THE LONE RANGER. Lionsgate owns the rights to this movie, hence their recent DVD release. It is unlikely they would relinquish the rights to another DVD company.

I told them why I would NOT be buying their sub-standard release, and implored
